Manchester United's Under-21s will take on Altrincham in a pre-season friendly at Moss Lane on Friday 31 July.

We met the Robins during pre-season in back-to-back summers, 2022 and 2023, and also played them during the group stages of the 2024/25 National League Cup.
The Reds were 4-0 victors on that occasion, with Ethan Ennis scoring a hat-trick and Amir Ibragimov also registering.

Our youngsters unfortunately lost the decisive match, 1-0 to Brighton & Hove Albion, but it was a season of success and learning for the lads as they won 21 of 36 games across four competitions.
Altrincham ended the 2025/26 National League campaign in 13th place.
